With grant funding from the California Air Resources Board, Green Commuter and its partner San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District have launched Valley Air ZEV Mobility.

Valley Air ZEV Mobility is a new zero-emission carshare and vanpool program designed to service some of the San Joaquin Valley's most challenged air-quality communities. California-licensed drivers register for the program online or over the phone. Approved drivers have access to a fleet of 12 long-range electric vehicles, to rent by the hour or day. Rates include insurance and are as low as $5 per hour.

Secure hub stations for charging are under development across the region, including locations in Merced, Fresno and Kern Counties.

Sign-up for the carsharing program through Green Commuter's app:
Get it on Google Play
For vanpooling, groups based in Arvin, Cantua Creek and Merced County are encouraged to call our Fresno Program Manager at 559-728-6332.

The electrification of transportation in the San Joaquin Valley is a major benefit for the entire community! Zero-emission ridesharing improves mobility, reduces harmful emissions and eliminates the burden of car ownership.

This project was supported by the California Climate Investments (CCI) program.
